HOW TO USE WATCH AREAS
Watch Areas let you save a map location, zoom level and supported operational layers so you can return to the same area quickly.
1. Move the map to the area you want to monitor and turn on the layers you want saved.
2. Select + SAVE CURRENT VIEW for the exact map position, or + SAVE CURRENT LGA to save the LGA at the map centre.
3. Give it a useful name so it is easy to recognise later.
4. Use the controls on the saved Watch Area to return to it or manage it.
BOARDOpen one Watch Area immediately, or tick several Watch Areas and use SHOW SELECTED ON BOARD to monitor them together.
OPENRestore the saved map centre, zoom and supported layers.
SHARECreate a link that opens the same operational map view.
UPDATEReplace the saved location, zoom and layer settings with the current map view.
RENAMEChange the Watch Area name without changing its saved location.
DELETERemove the Watch Area from this browser.
Watch Areas are stored only in this browser. Clearing browser storage, changing browser/device, or using private browsing may remove them.
CREATE FROM LIST
Choose an LGA or RFS District to create a Watch Area without manually positioning the map.
MAIN BOARD WATCH AREAS
Tick one or more Watch Areas below, then open them together on the main BOARD.
